I got all teary reading your article! How proud we ALL should be by owning such animals!
You should forward your article to ALSA and llama magazines to get it published, seriously!
We had a great Christmas and New Year, made extra special by Olivia's presence in our lives. How fortunate we are!
We hope you have a great year as well~ take care for now!

Hi Caroline,
I really enjoyed your page about the Rose Parade and all of your colorful photos. I watched for you in the parade but the stations just showed them for an instant on TV. We were disappointed.
But it sure looks as if you had a great time. Beautiful flowers in the packs!

Hi Caroline,
Thank you SO much for posting the article and absolutely gorgeous photos of LASC in the Rose Parade! Where do I send a check to help with any remaining expenses, and how should the check be made payable?
How long did it take to do the entire parade route?
I kept the Texas owners apprised of the parade and your location in it so they could all be sure to watch and received many responses afterward about how beautiful everyone (2 and 4-legged) was and what wonderful publicity
this was for llama owners all across the US.
We taped the Home & Garden channel coverage which appears to have been one of the longest and they
were really admiring the llamas and handlers too.
The photo of Bridget and White Russian should be on a calendar! Congratulations to you all!!

Hi Caroline and Bridget,
Thanks so much for posting your Tournament of Roses Parade story and pictures. Terrific page and pictures!
We eagerly tuned into the TV coverage of the parade to see the llamas, and wanted to yell at the cameras "Stay on the llamas!!"
You guys (people and llamas too) are great. We will be looking for you (on TV) in next year's parade.
Thanks,

When I saw them in the parade (albeit for the minute at best that they showed them) I got all teary.
I felt so proud of the people, and was reminded why I love these regal and wonderful animals.
They really looked magnificent.

I am SO glad you posted pictures and a recounting of your experience at the Rose Parade! I saw some video of it that was posted on either the SELR or SWLR websites, but that just didn't have the impact of your presentation. Bridget and White Russian made a wonderful pair! Well, actually, everyone looked great!
Thanks for a wonderful representation of our national and international llama communities. We're so proud of you all!!

Thank you so much for sharing the photos and so much detail about the parade on your website. The South Central Llama Association had notified all the members of your participation in the parade – so I told all my friends and was parked in front of the TV. I was so, so proud of the llamas – they personified everything that is wonderful about these animals – so calm and regal. And I more than appreciate what excellent handling that represents.
There must have been many new stimuli – sights and noises – that the llamas had never experienced before. And with animals, you can never be 100% sure what’s going to happen. I have never been so proud to be a llama owner.
Thank you for all your hard work. You guys are great!

Dear Friends,
I finally had a moment to look at your photos of this year's Rose Parade....thank you to all of you for your remarkable efforts and success in finding a way to expose these exceptional animals to the public in such a wonderful way!!! As a minor (only 6 in my herd) member of the llama-loving/owning community I am grateful for your ground-breaking feat!!
Congratulations to you and your llamas for such a fine representation of our extended community. Greetings and best regards to you all from Texas.

Hi Caroline,
I have been browsing through the Rose Bowl Parade and want to congratulate you all. I was watching on TV, but it went by too quickly. It is so nice to get a close up of the wonderful decorations. Thanks for sharing.

Good Evening Caroline,
My name is Kris Allen, I am the secretary for the Illinois Lama Association. I was so pleased to read your story about the rose parade on your website. Would you have any objections if our newsletter editor copied it and some of the pictures for our February newsletter? We will be happy to include your website address in the article.
It was wonderful to see llamas in the parade. I can not imagine how much work went into getting the llamas ready for the affair. Good Job!!
